There are so many brands of cosmetics to choose from that sometimes just looking at them makes you want to buy the entire shop. I must say that eyeliner is one of the most important cosmetics and my favorite item inside my make up kit because I always want to have this dramatic effect on my eyes that would turn heads of many people. My teenage cousins and friends would even come to me to ask for tips on how to properly put on eyeliner. The truth is, it is really not that of a big deal or something but knowing how to do it properly can at least give you an edge from other women who just simply apply make up without knowing the do's and the don’ts. 

Along with mascara, the eyeliner gives more definition to the eyes as they make them appear more pop out as well as giving emphasis to their shapes. One good thing about eyeliners is that putting it on does not require so much time and effort. You just have to simply look at your reflection in the mirror and turn those eyes into luscious looking eyes and this can be doe with your magical pencil. I will show you how to do it in a little while but first make the first move by going to the store to buy an appropriate pencil for you and that means choosing the right color. I like the black one because it is more classy and versatile.  

There are two types of eyeliner, the pencil and the liquid kind. I prefer using the pencil version during ordinary days but I go for the liquid one whenever I go to important occasions in order to give me a more dramatic look. In putting eyeliner, it is important that your pencil is sharpened well to make it do its job smoothly. You also make sure that there are no clumps. Lean your head slightly back ward and try to open your eyes. Avoid shaking your hands and blinking excessively as these may disrupt the whole process. Use a firm and dominant hand in painting your eyes. That way you can achieve the look that you want. 

I suggest that if you are just a beginner; try to watch some video clips on line to see the actual steps rather than imagining it. This will give you a better clue on how to put on eyeliner properly. It is better that you start now so that you can practice more and eventually you will know how to do it right.
